The Primal Blueprint Approach
The Primal Blueprint is an approach to better health that starts with an essentially "Paleo" or "Low Carb" way of eating and adds other lifestyle suggestions like simple exercises to give you the better health you deserve. Frankly, you've been misled by "conventional wisdom" when it comes to nutrition and health and you deserve better. The Primal Blueprint is the way I've found that can best restore the health you deserve quickly and easily, and without gimmicks. I believe in the approach so much that I've become certified as an expert in the Primal Blueprint, and I'm available to teach and help others in adopting it.
Without getting into the details on this page, the Primal Blueprint advocates eating real, whole foods. The foods that are best attuned to the way our bodies have been designed and the way our genes expect. It is an approach that brings rewarding food, an ability to ignore counting calories, and a tremendous amount of energy, while eliminating many of the ailments we've come to expect as we get older.
To get an idea on my view of nutrition, take a look at my blog on the things I eat. I look at the range of the best foods to eat to those that may be less than perfect, but represent the compromises that we all have to make living in the real world.
This approach does not expect you to spend hours in the gym every week. The approach to exercise, like the approach to diet, is attuned to the way our bodies have been designed and our genes expect. It can work no matter your current level of fitness, age, or fitness goals.
How do I get Started?
First, you need to decide that you are ready to change and this is the approach you want to try. You can explore my web site and learn a little more about my approach nutrition and health.
While this approach can make it very easy to get healthy, any change does take some determination, and a period (of about a week or two) of adjustment. Once you're ready to change, I strongly suggest that you adopt the approach as completely as you can, and give it a few weeks to see results. If can stick with it that long, I think you'll start seeing real improvements and you won't want to change back to your old ways.
Some people don't want to do this on their own. If you don't have a trusted friend who has done this themselves, you may want a coach to help you figure out the conflicting messages you'll likely get from all directions.
